(Birth Control) Failure of condoms

What are the chances of condom failure if it did not break or slip? Is this when they are said to be 97% effective? I looked in the archives, but found a wide range of different answers.

I'm asking because I had sex about 10 days ago, and I'm starting to feel tired and my tummy hurts. I'm sure this is in my head, but would feel better if someone could help me out. Plus, wouldn't it be too early to have pregnancy symptoms?

Thanks.
