I am 29 wks pg. My first was deliver via c-section in 10/99. low-transverse. This past week I have been experiencing pain at my incision site. It is deep, not on the skin. Sometimes it is sharp, but mostly it is tender to touch and aches. I am worried that this is a sign that my uterus is thinning at the original inscision site. My midwife thinks it is adhesions that are strectching. The tenderness is there most of the time. When I walk, I catch myself holding my stomach right at the site because it hurts/aches. Until today it had been mainly on my left side, but it has progressed to my right as well. Can an ultrasound show if there is thinning of the wall of the uterus? What kind of u/s should I ask for if one is needed. I would hate to have a premature rupture and loose this baby. Thanks for your help. Rebecca
