Kim, It can take a couple of months for it to work itself out to where you won't get period. What you are probably experiencing is breakthrough bleeding, which is common at first. Your body is adjusting. It is my understanding you will continue on the pill through the pack and then have your period. Do give your Dr. a call if you are at all concerned.
