Had TVH w/ A&P [really don't think rectocele was repaired as I did not have stitches there but dr is inisisting that "husband's knot" works to hold it----so far it hasn't.]repairs in Oct 2001. Rectocele is here and HUGE. Want to wait a few months for surgery...Do pessaries help to relieve symptoms until surgery arrives? If so, what type works best? Symptoms are: low back and tail bone pain, having to splint, feeling like I am sitting on a golf ball, and painful cramping in the back vaginal wall. Thanks!!! Pinch
