Hi, leann! You've probably already gotten your answer by now...but I thought I might put in my two cents. I took alesse for a short time and my acne was awful! Three months ago I switched to Zovia a generic for Demulen. Great stuff! My acne cleared up and my periods are almost unnoticeable! I have virtually no bloating, no cramps, or pms, it's been great...It wasn't immediate, though. The first month I didn't notice much change, if any at all, but now after three months, it's quite a big difference. I know everyone is different, but this sure worked for me! Good Luck! Carrie
