I'm 18 yrs old and my boyfriend, my family and I think that its about time I be put on birth control. My only question is.....do I have to be examined before I'm put on it? I've been told that I can go to the health clinic and be put on it but I've also heard that I have to be examined to know how my hormones are and how much I can take. Is this true?
