Did I not wait long enough?

Hi

I had a tubal ligation done (April 17) and everything went well. I did have about 4 days of bleeding and because I can never keep track of my time of the month, I am inclined to believe that it too came at the same time as the expected bleeding but I cant be certain. I had unprotected intercourse with my other half on May 1, 2002. I have heard conflicting things about when intercourse can be restored once this surgery has taken place- anywhere from the first week to 6 weeks. My surgery itself, went wonderfully and I have no side effects and feel 100% but now I am little curious on if I jumped into the intercourse too soon as I cant be certain that I already had my menstration for the month of April. I had thought my time of the month was roughly around the 26th-28th and if my memory serves me correct (dont put money on it ;), I have missed the first one.

Could the tubes sizzling not have worked 100%? It feels fine and I have no reason to believe it did not hold its place nice and tight other than I did not wait longer than 2 weeks to resume intercourse.

I am a little worried that I may have accidently gotten myself pregnant should the healing not have been complete.

Did I not wait long enough? (and yes, I should have used some form of protection but these darn hormones just got in the way ;)

Thank you Adrianna
