Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: spotting between periods" I am a 35 year old female I have been on BCP for about 15 years , I changed for Tr-levlen to Yasmin approx 4 months ago I have noticed that in between periods I feel crampy and bloated. I also have a brown mucousy discharge. I hate going to my doctor for every little thing but the bloating and crampiness are also signs of other things. Last month I was a little forgetful about regularly taking my pills could that be why I am spotting. I figured with being on the pill for so long( xcept for two pregnancies) your body would not be so affected by missing a few pills .Thanks for your time!
