For the last 8 months I have had irregular periods. The last two months I have had a light period with an additional 7-10 days of spotting. My husband and I are trying to conceive. 1) do polyps cause annovulation? 2) Do polyps affect fertility? 3) does polyp removal fix the ovulation problem? 4) do polyps cause miscarriages? I have already called my doc who wants to do a D and C hysteroscopy, but the insurance wants hormone therapy. What is the best option since I want to conceive?
