Stopping Break Through Bleeding (BCP)From: angela (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 18 Apr 2002 17:46:40 -0500 (CDT)
Hi, I am currently taking Necon 1/35. I was told by my doctor that I could take only the active pills for 3 months straight and then take the week of placebo pills. I am on the end of my second month doing this and I am having break through bleeding. Should I continue to take the active pills or should I just break for a week and restart? Is there anything that stops breakthrough bleeding? Could the bleeding be because I am just getting use to the birth control pills? Any help would be much appreciated, angela
