cycles, the sore breasts would come after I ovulated- so that would be progesterone. Now that I am perimenopausal, I have had extreme breast soreness before I ovulated, so that would be higher levels of estrogen.

I also wonder if evening primrose oil could cause breast tenderness since it is estrogenic. Maybe it is one of those things that is works for some women and not for others? I have never tried it myself because of my endo. BTW, I take 400 mg of Vit E and it doesn't do a thing to help with sore breasts for me. I don't do the caffine thing, so I know that isn't an issue.
