My wife lately develop a irregular blood pressure, fluctate between 80-90 (low reading) and 120-140 (high reading). In addition, she felt headache or los of balance (occassionaly). As a husban, I am a bit confuse and like to seek second opinion from the forum. I have sent her to a cardilogist for advise. She has done, ultra Scan for her heart, CT scan for her adominal on her adrenal glands. Her left adrenal gland appears bulky but no definite mass is demostrated. The liver, pancreas and kidneys appear normal. No aadominall lymphadenopathy is seen.

The resting ECG was normal in sinus rhythm. The echocardiogram revealed normal LV size and function. There were no segmental wall motion abnormalities or left ventricular hypertrophy. The mitral vave was normal with trivial regrgitation. The aortic valve and arota wee normal without regurgitation. There was trivial tricuspid reg;urgitation, There were no intracardiac shunts.

Biochemistry screeing revaealed normal thyroid, liver and kidney functions and the cancer marker for liver, large intestines and pancreas are negative. Total cholesterol was 4.21 mmol/l, triglycerides were 1.1 mmol/l, LDL was 1.92 mmol/l and glucose was 4.7 mmol/l. Serum potassium was normal at 4.3 mmol/l. She has Thalassaemia minus.

I am seeking help from a neurogist for a MRI head scan next week for the prblems casued her unconfort at her head.

I need help and advise from the forum on how to keep my wife blood pressure normal without too much fluctation.
