BJ ps-I am in the process of weaning off SSRIs (been on them for several years now) and going a more natural route with 5-HTP and L-carnitine supplements. So far I feel great! When people ask me at work why I'm in such a good mood lately I just tell them it's the great new drugs! Only problem of course, these are pricy supplements and the insurance won't cover them but I figure it's worth it to get rid of the side effects. These 2 together work by providing the necessary precursors to seratonin production so these increase the levels instead of just stopping your body from clearing it.
