Unmonitored Clomid Use? I've been on progesterone, and Clomid is my last resort treatment because I really do not want to increase my chances of multiple births, as my only other pregnancy was twins, conceived nat. My question is, after taking the Clomid this week, now I am totally paranoid and scared about getting preg. with twins again (or more--that is an awful thought). My OB/GYN says to call at the end of cycle if I am preg. or not to determine next steps, but is not monitoring me with ultrasound, or blood tests, as I have read others are. Given my concern, and prior history, is it out of line to call my doctor and request they give me an ultrasound before I ovulate to determine if I have multiple follicles? Or am I being too paranoid? I'm very confused, and am ready to throw this whole cycle away and not try the Clomid again at this point.
