Dee,

I have to say that I agree with the other women who posted that your daughter probably needs to be evaluated by a gyn. The only thing I disagree with is that it may be best to send her to a woman. I was 14 when I had my first exam...it was with a women and it was a horrible experience. My next appointment was a few weeks later with her male partner and he was so nice and it was such a better experience. So, I guess what I'm trying to say is don't feel like you HAVE to find a woman if you know there is a man in your area that you are comfortable with or know is better than the women available.
