Cancer treatment & Infertility - using Luperon?

Hi,

My girlfriend has Hodgkin's Disease. To treat it she may be getting high dose chemotherapy (with stem-cell transplant). On this treatment there is a high risk that she may be infertile after it.

I've heard of a drug called Luperon, that temporarily could put my girlfriend into menopause. Therefore the chemotheropy drugs would not attach her reproductive organs.

Can you tell me if you have heard of this? Where can I get more inforamtion on Luperon?

Cheers,

Andy
