Hi Maxine,

Nothing to regret that I can see! I have worked in a large Medical Center for many years and know that Doctors, Nurses, Therapists, and Technicians get thank you notes, letters, candies, cookies, flowers, all the time. No one is anything more than appreciative that our care has not gone unnoticed. This Christmas, I gave my Doctor some home baked cookies in a nice tin for himself and staff thanking them for their care and kindness throughout the year. He thanked me as did his assistant and receptionist (also his wife). Nothing sinister there. Nor will your thank you seem that way, unless, of course, you say something much more provocative than "thank you". So feel free to thank away (and don't be afraid to enclose some cookies if you are so inclined:))! I'm very sure your doctor will appreciate it!
