This sounds psychosomatic - the power of the human mind over biology. You're not going crazy, women in your situation can experience this and I don't think it is terribly unusual. If you have done pg tests since your miscarriage and they are neg, then it is unlikely you have retained a twin. But, I empathise with your situation. Try and find a sympathetic dr who could do an ultrasound for you to allay your fears. I am sorry for your loss, I hope you have really supportive ppl around you now to help you through this.
