------------------- A Tubal Ligation is where both fallopian tubes(tubes that ------------------- carry the egg from the ovaries to the utereus) are cut and
--

sealed or blocked so that sperm can't reach the egg to fertilize
it. It is a permanent form of birth control and you would not
be able to have another child without having expensive surgery
and then there is only a very slim chance that it would be successful
enabling you to conceive. If you are wanting to
have another child this would not be the way to go. I had
a tubal ligation after the birth of my 4th child knowing
that I definitely did not want to have any more children. It
is the best when you are all done.......Maybe you are thinking
of an IUD?
