No period yet, baby's 3 months oldFrom: Joy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 3 Apr 2002 07:44:18 -0600 (CST)
My daughter is 3 months old today. At my 6 week check up, my dr. said that I should get my period 4-6 weeks after I stopped breast feeding. I stopped breast feeding when she was 5 days old and I still do not have my period and am a little concerned. I am 37 years old and in pretty good health. I was told two years ago that I was in the early stages of menopause and not ovulating regularly and that my chances of having another child were next to nothing. Then last year I got pregnant after no birthcontrol for 2 years. Is this something for which I should call my dr? I think that it could be early menopause as I am starting to have heavy sweating at night and I am usually a very cold natured person.
