Hi I do not get why everyone is up in arms about the home pap test. There are lots of home test for pregnancy,ovulation,glocose etc...There are alwayg going to be people that do not go to the docs for whatever reason,that is there choice. Some people do not have insurance in this country, and cannot afford a doctor. At least with home tests you can pick up a possible problem yourself. I myself go to my doc every year for my pap, breast exam etc. I believe early detection is are only chance against any illness. If these problems are detected by a doc or yourself, as long as they are detected as soon as possible. I believe your health is a partnership between you and your doc. But we as woman need to be informed about our own healthecare,and ask LOTS of questions. Because ultimately, w e control our healthcare. I think A forum like this is vital in helping woman get and share info, about our own healthcare. Remember ladies....we are all in this together!!!!! And I think we all want the same thing...to live full and healthy lives. Thank you to the docs who give of their own time to guide us to our goal. Alice
