Previous message: anonymous@obgyn.net: "i have a ?" I'm 27 years old. I have a 5 year old. I went on the depo provera shot. I gained weight, became very independent.. I didn't want a man in my life and I had a lack of interest in sex. It broke my boyfriend and I up for a couple months. So, I DID NOT go back for my second shot in January 2002. I hated it. Its now March 31, 2002 "Happy Easter" and I had a period last week, but with NO cramps.. kinda odd huh? My breasts did not swell until after my period nor did I get bloated until after my period. My breasts are leaking a small amount of milk if I squeeze the nipple. I took 2 pregnancy tests and both were negative. Has anyone else had any side effects like this after being on the shot?
