Small white bumps?From: Rae (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 31 Mar 2002 02:54:23 -0600 (CST)
I hope someone can answer this question. Hopefully this makes sense, it is a rather lengthy explanation. I recently discovered that I have a few raised, very very small white bumps right underneath my clitoris. They are hard and don't appear to be filled with anything. I've been tested for herpes twice, both during what I thought may have been outbreaks and both came back negative. The last time I ended up actually having a bacterial infection according to the doctor who perscribed me flagyl which ended up making me sick and not doing a thing to get rid of the infection. This was in a walk in clinic, so I followed up at my ob/gyn's office and I had a yeast infection. I used the seven day treatment that I was told to purchase, and it seemed to go away. However, I am still experiencing some irritation, and now these bumps show up. These are pretty new, and I have not been sexually active since I was tested at the walk-in clinic and that was like two months ago. I don't know if I had them when I went to my gyn's office but if she had seen them during my exam and it was abnormal I would like to think she would have said something. Is there such thing as a normal vaginal bumps? They don't hurt or itch at all, the only irritation I have is vulvar and much like the kind I experienced with the yeast infection. Can a yeast infection cause bumps?
