You need to make sure that you actually have a yeast infection. I have had patients who have had monthly yeast infections, only to find out their actually returned herpes infections. If they continue to occur every month, and they actually are yeast, documented by a physician, then the you should probably be cultured. You also may want to be checked for diabetes and other immune compromising situations.
