This month the result was fairly week but all other signs that ovulation where occurring where present. During intercourse at day 15 we experienced some bleeding which by the next morning had disappeared. Also at day 18 the bleeding reoccurred [not during intercourse]. My cycle is about 27/28 days normally and I had an early miscarriage in December but have had 3 normal periods since. I have had a normal smear test since and had an examination straight after the miscarriage which was normal. Please can you tell me anything about this. Is it highly unlikely that we will be successful this month due to the bleed? >Thank you for your help. >Tanya Without an examination it would be difficult to tell you what is the cause of the bleeding. It could be anywhere from a cervical problem, such as an erosion or inflammation or infection, to a uterine problem such as an intrauterine polyp or fibroid or retained products of conception (the last very unlikely if you've had three normal menstrual cycles) to hormonal problem, although this is unlikely if you have had normal ovulation kit response. Still you should not have any bearing on your ability to get pregnant, unless there is an intrauterine mass.
