Hi Mary,
They also look at your Platelets if they are too low. I forgot to
mention that in my earlier post to you.
You are definitely anemic. You may want to, as I mentioned before, ask
for a referral to a Hematologist to get all of this sorted out. Your
anemia could be due to excessive menstrual bleeding, but there are other
reasons for anemia, and those need to be looked at. I had to go through
a few GI tests (Colonoscopy, Endoscopy, and Small Bowel Endoscopy). I
had some other blood tests that were done as well.
