I have two types of anemia and get my blood checked often by my
hematologist. My platelets sometimes are out of range as well. They do
not look at the platelet count until it reaches 1 million. I've been
dealing with this for years, and this is how it has always been.
You might ask your MD for a referral to a Hematologist for an evaluation
of the anemia. Do you know what your Hemaglobin and Hematocrit (H&H)
are?
