Kelly Shanahan, MD, FACOG: "Re: Lupron to treat infertility" I am having trouble getting pregnant. My doctor performed a laporoscopy and I have been diagnosed with mild Endometriosis. I have very mild pain associated with it. During the lap, she said she was able to take care of some of the endo, but she is sure there is more. She is suggesting that I start Lupron injections for 3-6 months. Is this the next logical step? So many side affects are involved. Are there any other alternatives?
