I started having problems with OrthoCept (high estrogen and progesterone) after about a year and a half of use. I had an exam (everything was fine), was changed to OrthoTriCyclene (high estrogen) to see if just changing the pill would help. It did for about a month. Had another exam and sonogram to check inside the cervix (everything was fine), then changed to LoOverall (high progesterone). None worked so my Dr. had me go off the pill for 3 months to see if it was really the pill that caused the problem. I had no symptoms while off the pill. I returned to OrthoCept and the problem came back. I have now gone completely off the pill and am looking for a non-hormonal form of b.c.
