Just prior to being diagnosed with Endometriosis, I called my GYN to tell him the pain was increasing. His nurse called me and said, "Live with it!" I kid you not. I was floored, as I just knew my GYN would not say that. I immediately hung up and called back, asking to speak with my MD. His nurse called me back and told me he was busy and couldn't speak with me. I told her to have him call me when he had a moment. He did, and the following day, she was transferred out of the office to a satellite office about 45 minutes away! My Dr. was so apologetic and thankful that I let him know what was going on, as if I didn't tell him, he wouldn't know. I later found out, I was not the first one she did this to. So, do call your MD and let him know what went on.
