Three-four hours of sleep consistently over a long period of time is not enough to function effectively. If your doctor's office does not call you within a reasonable time, always call them back. I have learned that sometimes the message center does not fax over calls when the doctor's staff is in (and they get paid per fax, so go figure!) Also, on weekends, I had a problem where the answering service did not read the doctor's instructions on their computer screen on where to reach him that weekend. When they called the wrong number and he didn't call back, they assumed he didn't want to be bothered!! Nothing could have been further from the truth..
