yeast infection while breast feeding

I am breasting, and am 99% certain that I have a yeast infection (I have a doctor's apt on Tuesday). I am using monistat, and my symptoms are getting better. I was reading another post, and it sounds like a woman cannot get a yeast infection while breast feeding because of the different hormones levels in her body. Is this true?

Here's another quesion. Is it safe for my husband to take diflucan? I feel like I got my yeast infection from him.
