Re: Follow up or not follow up: Has this ever happened to you and what do you think? From: D.N. (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 22 Mar 2002 11:53:59 -0600 (CST)
My doc sends me a copy of my lab results. It usually has his/her initals that they saw it and they indicate if there are any abnormalities. They would of course call me if there was a problem. You have every right to a copy of your lab results. Just call and tell them to send it to you. As far as the receptionist not knowing that the mentioned seeing you again, he may have forgotten to mark it down, so the receptionist didn't know. I understand that it is annoying when you have to deal with people with an attitude. I would suggest keep calling to you are satisfied with the results. Perhaps talk to the office manager. You do need to stand up for yourself, because no one else will. Best wishes, D.N.
