How to wake up ovaries after hysterectomy

Hello: I had written that I had a laproscopic supracervical hysterectomy on the 13th of Feb..while I am feeling very very well right now..I noticed about 2 weeks ago that I cannot get to sleep before 1am..and I am having trouble waking up in the morning..I did tell my Dr this past week at my post op check. He said that my ovaries aren't fully working yet due to the trauma of the hysterectomy..But he didn't tell me what to do..I did try the benydryl and even Valerian to try to get to sleep, still not getting to sleep till 1am..I am getting tired in the late afternoon..not exhausted..just sleepy..but I have to push through that..and then I am wide awake again at 8pm..almost like a 2nd wind. How can I reregulate my sleep without having to use hormones? Is there something that I should be doing that I am not? I do take Buspar, that used to regulate my sleep, but is not working now..and usually I was able to wake up feeling rested, that's not the case either..What can I do if anything? I would really like to get 8 hrs sleep. I am not anxious about anything, I am not having hot flashes..just can't get to sleep. Could this just be that fact that I have so much more energy now without adenomyosis, and all the symptoms (because I had all of them) going on now? How long does it take for your ovaries to wake up?? Sorry for all the questions..just trying to figure this out alittle on my own, since Dr. didn't suggest the estrogen. Thank you.
