[Birth Control] BCP's and Bladder Infections

Hi I might have a possible bladder infection or UTI and was wondering if the BC Pill I tried this month Estrostep Fe was the culprit becasue I never had one in my life and I have been sexually active for 2 years and watch my hygeine (sp?). I really beleive that this caused it and I regret ever switching my pill now. I am starting Ortho Tricyclen again (was on it for 3 months prior switched due to bad water retention) tommorrow due to major problems I had on Estrostep (took it everyday same time not missing any I had breakthrough bleeding for a week or so and severe cramps and still managed to have my "period" for 3 days this week just got over it yesterday morning and I decided to hang in there the rest of the pack) but I was just wondering this becasue I read somewhere dont remember where that estrogen sometimes plays a role on UTI's. I did a search in the archives and couldnt find a answer but does URISTAT decrease the effectiveness of Ortho Tri because I am going to try that this weekend becasue I cant get an appointment til next Mon or Tues. I was hoping it could tone down the symptons alittle. Also my breasts seem to be burning on and off for almost the whole month. IT died down alittle this week then started up again today. Is this normal or is it the pill? Thanks sorry for all the questions.
