In 96 I had a benign teratoma removed as well as my left ovary and tube. My OB/GYN has me get a pelvic ultrasound once a year to make sure it hasn't come back on the other ovary. He says there is a 25% chance of this re-occuring. I thought this a high percentage. What are the statistics for re-occurance and do they have a better chance o of being malignat vs benign? Ann
