Thank you for your reply. Yes, I have other symptoms. Besides the bleeding I have had increasing pain in my right lower quadrant. The pain is worse when I have a bowel movement. It also increases when I work out. I have had alternating constipation and loose stools for the whole year I have had symptoms. I don't think I have hemorrhoids and the bleeding is only when I have my period, and usually the day before and after, too. I was placed on Yasmine birth control but this has not changed any symptoms. All of this started after I was married and started using the pill---I stopped using the pill after one year becuase I wondered if it was causing all these symptoms. Could using the pill cause bleeding from the rectum with my period? I don't mind the bleeding and the pain is bearable, but actually has been increasing over the last few months. None of the doctors I have consulted with have seemed concerned about the bleeding. I have become frustrated with the docs I have consulted with becuase they cannot give me any good answers or solutions. Do you think I should keep looking or just live with it? Thank you very much for your time.
