measurmentsFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netSun, 10 Mar 2002 08:14:59 -0600 (CST)
I am 27weeks pregnant with my 3rd child. I have had two previous c-sections and will have another c-section at 38 weeks. I had my 1st c-section because I was not progressing and my 2nd was a scheduled c-section. My doctor noted dense pelvic adhesions. Although she suggested I not have any more children we are again expecting. At my last visit my doctor noted I was measuring 2 weeks ahead. I am wondering if this is an indication that this baby will be a little larger. Does this usually mean a larger baby? My other children were both 9 lbs. and I worry about bringing a small baby home. I have gained about 15 pounds so far. What is a rough estimate of a baby's weight at 38 weeks? Thank you.
