Thank you Dr. Braun. I'll get my levels checked and will push for a consult at one of the university hospitals. the BSO was actually in 2 steps. 1st one due to cyst/scarring. the 2nd surgery was combined with bowel surgery and was supposed to be a complete hysterectomy due to ovarian cyst, inflammation and scarring of ovaries and uterus. all due to crohn's disease. my uterus is adhered to my spine (prior proctocolectomy). surgeons at John's Hopkins didn't want to attempt removal of my uterus due to placement, amount of adhesions and risk of hemorrhage. also, I'd already been on the table 8 hrs by then.

thanks again, with all my health problems, I am sometimes unsure which issues to persue and when to just give it time.
