Look at the vaginal opening....or just past. As for changing the color of your vulva, DO NOT DO IT YOURSELF (not yelling, just emphasizing)! I don't know if there is anything you can really do. Talk to your GYN or a Dermatologist to see if there is a method.... Just remember, vulva's can be different for every woman. You could do more damage trying to change it.
