Daniel Braun, MD: "Re: NSAID's & stomach pain" I'm having an ultrasound of my galbladder in the morning as my doctor discovered a possible gallstone during a recent nuclear scan. When I look up my symptoms on the internet it almost sounds more like an ulcer problem than a gallstone problem. (Severe pain, burning, etc. after I eat certain things.) I take about 6 to 8 Ibuprofin/Motrin tablets a week and am wondering if this could be causing my tummy troubles. Should I tell my doctor that I take Motrin on a regular basis, or is this probably not a big deal? Thanks for your help.
