down there cleaning!

I have a general hygiene question: Is it ok to use feminine wipes (which I've seen popping everywhere in the market)? I've never had a yeast/bacterial infection or an STD of any sort. I occassionally use baby wipes, especially during my period, just to clean up a bit when I feel the need to freshen up, and I also use them just before visiting my gynecologist (as a favor to the both of us) since they come in convenient individually wrapped packets. Are feminine wipes any different from baby wipes and is it ok to use them occasionally to keep things clean? (I understand that if I use them I should choose the non-alcohol fragrance-free varieties).

Thanks!
