Abnormal Bone Marrow & Lupron

I had an MRI after an auto accident which showed abnormal bone marrow in the lubrsacral spine. It was noted by the radiologist that if there had been chemotherapy or radation change, this could create the marrow replacement changes. I have seen a hemotologist who did a bone marrow test in my hip and the bone marrow in my hip is okay. The bone marrow in question is in my spine.

Now they want to go into my spine and do a CT guided biopsy of the bone marrow and spine.

I took a drug called "Lupron" in order to supress hormones and endometrioosis in an attempt to get pregnant. However, when I took that drug in 1995 it was enclosed in a plastic bag with a sticker that stated "caution chemotherapy".

I am asking as to whether you are familiar with Lupron and whether that has been known to have permanent side effects of making changes to bone marrow, especially in the spine. Are you familiar with Lupron and any changes to the bone or bone marrow?

I would truly appreciate your opinion as I am in a quandry about this additional surgical proceedure and would just like to know if my changes are due to the Lupron, are they going to be debilitating, (in other words, will I continue to have bone marrow changes) or, have they been permanently changed while I was on the drug and the effects should no longer be.

I thank you in advance for your response to this question.
