feel weirdFrom: Amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 27 Feb 2002 8:18:26 -0500
I have polycystic ovarian syndrome. I take 1000mg of Glucophage (supposed to be 1500 but I never take a dose at noon because I am not in the house) everyday for the disorder. In November I got off of my birth control pills because they decreased my sex drive and I was miserable. My periods had come regularly for the first two months I was off of my pills... But the first day of my last period was January 19th. I have had a weird kind of nausea since a couple of weeks before that. I don't throw up, I just get that sicky kind of feeling. I took a pregnancy test on the 22nd of February, but it came back negative and my husband and I have not been trying to get pregnant and haven't 'slipped up'. Does PCOS effect pregnancy tests or could I have something wrong and need to go to the doctor. Thank you so much for your time, I am worried.
