Lupron & SpottingFrom: Amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 22 Feb 2002 21:35:23 -0600 (CST)
Long HX, you can refer to many of my posts.. this is Amy, the one who posted a couple days ago about possible relief from pain using Lupron x 5 days. I had a question, and am hoping it can be answered. I had been on Alesse 28 bcp for 2 years. After a long battle with LRQ pain, my GYN (after 2 surgeries: appy and adhesion removal in Nov 2000 and Right Oopherectomy in Dec 2001), she decided to try Lupron on me. My last cycle was Feb 13th-16th, unusually short for me (tho not complaining). I am doing Lupron for 2 months. I got my first shot on Feb 15th. Last bcp taken was Feb 9th. I noticed some very light spotting (not even enough to wear a liner, on 2-21 and again on 2-22. I am not bothered by this, was just curious if this is "normal". Since I didn't start a new bcp pack on 2-17 (due to being on Lupron) like I was suppose to if I wasn't on the Lupron, is it just my body "confused"? Ya know, like if you stop bcp and have spotting and or bleeding? Thanks in advance and hope all are doing well.
