Hi there,

If the swabs were negative, then no, you did not have a yeast infection.

Why is your doc perscribing diflucan if you do not have a yeast infection? The swabs take about 5-10 minutes, you can have the results that office visit. Diflucan doesn't really hurt anything, but there is such a thing as too much of a good thing.

Did your doc screen for BV or anything else? Might be a good idea to have an STD screen too.

Take care,
