Hi, Just wanted to let you know that this happened to me too. It seems I am allergic or at least sensitive to the yeast treatment creams. I too had the "burn" from the cream. My doc suggested cortisone cream and thought the initial burning and itching could be from dry skin or soap irritation. Then I truly did have a yeast infection after taking an antibiotic. I was able to use a new prescription called Gynazol. No burning or irritation and the itch went away. Hope you find some answers soon.
