Semen AND Latex allergy...From: Adria (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 21 Feb 2002 10:49:12 -0600 (CST)
When my fiancè and I have sex, we cannot use comdoms because they irritate me. Even the polyurethane or labskin ones. I am not only allergic to the latex, but also the lubricant. I cannot use perfumed soap, detergent, feminine cleansers, bath oils or bubbles, etc. Also, if he uses Lever 2000 to wash himself, it is 10 million times worse for me. My problem is this: I am allergic to all of those things and also to his semen. What do I do now? I can't avoid the semen by using condoms because I am allergic to all contraceptives except birth control pills. I know he can pull out, but that rarely is fulfilling. Please help.
