Relief From Lupron Shot That Was Given 5 days ago? Is This Possible? From: Amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 20 Feb 2002 20:06:07 -0600 (CST)
I got my first shot of Lupron on Feb 15th (possible microscopic endo). Since I got the shot, I had been really busy with taking care of my hubby who just had knee surgery on Feb 15th. Today is Feb 20th. Since the 18th, I haven't felt much pain at all. I had been experiencing persistent LRQ pain, and after lap w/ adhesion removal and appy in Nov 2000, then right oopherectomy Dec 2001 I still have the pain. GYN trying me on the Lupron for a couple months. IF I feel any pain, it isn't anything like the pain I had been having. Is it possible, even tho insert I was given said relief would not be felt till at least 2 weeks after the start of therapy, for me to get relief from the Lupron already? Thanks in advance.
