I was prescribed Vagifem yesterday by my OB-GYN for vaginal dryness/pelvic pain. I have read the insert which advises against using the drug while breastfeeding. Is this a precautionary statement or are there real risks associated with estrogen therapy and breastfeeding? Thank you for your assistance.
